1/3 of inspyre just moved to New Mexico. Me. I have always wanted to live in the mountains, and having finished my B.S. degree in computer science at the University of Wisconsin in Madison with 3 months to spend before I move to Berkeley CA to begin graduate school, how could I pass up the opportunity to work on super computers for the summer at the Los Alamos National Laboratory?

The cutting edge computer research I do at LANL will undoubtedly have an impact on the technical aspects of projects that inspyre tackles. We might even have to build our own super computer. Google did. By the end of the summer I’ll have a good idea how to go about doing just that.

So while I have left my family, friends, and home, I have not left inspyre. In fact we’ve built inspyre on a digital foundation with just this move in mind. Since Mike, Ryan, and I started we’ve built inspyre as a company to handle rapid growth. Computer scientists would call it scalability, and with so many new clients and web projects coming our way, inspyre is scaling! We are growing in experience and projects and geography. Thus, inspyre needs more of my time than ever. Thankfully, in addition to making me a more competent computer scientist, my research position at LANL will actually leave me with more time to spend programming for inspyre than I had during the school year at UW. Keep your eyes open as our portfolio grows, as I grow, and as we now put to work a scalable inspyre.
